Contest purpose

    Adhere to innovation leadership, use the Industrial Youth Innovation Competition as a carrier to promote industrial youth to stimulate potential, strengthen innovation and creation in key industrial industrial development fields such as artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing, build a platform for youth innovation exchange and display, explore and cultivate innovative projects and youth teams that conform to Shanghai's industrial development orientation, and create a good atmosphere of caring for and supporting young people's innovation.

Participation requirements

（1) Participants

    For the city's industrial youth.

（2) Age of participating

    1. Individual participation:Age must be under 35 years old (inclusive) (born on July 1, 1983 and later);

    2. Team competition:The team leader must be under 40 years of age (inclusive) (born on July 1, 1978 and later), and the number of core team members must be ≤6The proportion of young people under 35 years old (inclusive) must be ≥50%。

（3) Requirements for participating projects

Participants must meet the following conditions:

    1.Comply with national laws and regulations and national industrial policies;

    2.Do not infringe on the intellectual property rights and other rights of others;

In principle, multiple registrations for the same project are not encouraged.

Entry category

This competition is classified into three fields, namely:

    （I) Artificial intelligence and urban operation:Focus on the application and innovation of artificial intelligence technology in urban operation, social governance, etc.;

    （II) Industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing:Focus on the application and innovation of industrial Internet technology and intelligent manufacturing technology in the production and manufacturing process;

    （III) Internet of Things and smart city construction:Focus on the application and innovation of technologies such as the Internet of Things and big data in the construction of smart cities.

（1) The competition has several gold medals, silver medals and excellent project awards.

（2) The winning projects can be recommended to apply for the city’s small and medium-sized enterprise industrial upgrading supporting projects. （1) Basic information:The basic information of the participants or the participating team and the basic information of the company they are located (the entrepreneurial team that has not undergone industrial and commercial registration may not provide the basic information of the company for the time being).

（II) Project plan:Including project summary, project background, goals and outputs, beneficiary groups, existing problems and needs, etc. Relevant information such as patent certificates, special product certification certificates, written authorization and license letters for owners with legal effect, project growth process, product or production process related introduction, project development concept and phased results, etc. can be attached to the plan, only PDF Format, file not greater than 20 M。

（2) Competition review stage (August 18-September 21)

    1. Qualification Review: Contents include basic information of the participating team, basic information of the participating projects and project information, project innovation, etc.Projects that meet the conditions will enter the expert review process of the next stage of the competition.

    2. Preliminary competition review: Expert online review method is carried out, and 50-60 projects that are in line with Shanghai's industrial development direction, innovative, mature and application value will be selected to vote online.

    3. Online voting: Carry out public online voting.

    4. Final review: It is carried out through on-site project defense, results display, and on-site expert review.Based on the scores of the expert judges and the comprehensive online voting, the winning items of the competition will be selected.
