2013.11.14 11On the morning of the 13th of this month, a seminar on the collaborative development of National University Science and Technology Park and Taicang City in Suzhou and Shanghai was held in Taicang City, Jiangsu Province.Shu Hua, deputy director of the High-tech Department of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Education, presided over the meeting and Wang Jianfeng, secretary of the Taicang Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.The heads of 13 member units of the Shanghai National University Science and Technology Park Alliance, the heads of 6 member units of the Jiangsu National University Science and Technology Park Alliance, and the heads of the Taicang "One city, two districts and six towns" attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Wang Yonglin, member of the Standing Committee of the Taicang Municipal Party Committee, gave a detailed introduction to Taicang's humanistic history, location advantages and economic development. Wang Huibo, Secretary-General of the Shanghai National University Science and Technology Park Alliance and General Manager of Shanghai Science and Technology Park Co., Ltd., made an exchange speech entitled "University Science and Technology Park Alliance and Regional Development" on behalf of the alliance. The heads of some national university science and technology parks in Jiangsu and Shanghai also introduced the characteristics of their respective parks and their ideas for cooperation with Taicang.The two sides agreed to form the best cooperation model through in-depth exchanges and discussions.
